Basil, from the garden

We have herbs galore growing in our garden. There’s Rosemary, oregano, thyme, lavender, mint, sage, dill, parsely, cilantro, and basil. This basil was ready to be picked, and so I brought it inside to serve with tomatoes. If you don’t want to use fresh basil right away, you can dry it for later use. You can also prepare fresh pesto and freeze it.
